Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year! Please help us spread the word to families to register now so their new student doesn't miss the May 7th Kindergarten Signing Day at our elementary schools!

*Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 to attend Kindergarten for the upcoming school year. Students currently enrolled in a BCSS school do not need to complete a new registration.

Did you know that BCSS families have access to a free and convenient online resource to help support student well-being? The Mental Health Series Platform, familyguidance.org, offers you videos, live webinars, and live virtual sessions with a licensed family therapist.

Recipients of Barrow’s BEST Award are selected through nominations submitted by colleagues and community members. BEST stands for Barrow's Exceptional Support Team. A winner is selected in each of five service categories: Service Employee, School Nutrition, Transportation, Support Personnel, and Contributing Professional.

After this school year, BCSS will use ParentSquare as the main communications tool (replacing Remind) to connect staff and families. ParentSquare offers features including an app, secure document sharing, school and district websites, an event calendar with an RSVP option, content-rich newsletters, translation, 1:1 messaging, and more. Read more about the transition and the benefits of the app.
