HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT:
You will receive an invitation email or text to join ParentSquare. Please click the link to activate your account. It takes less than a minute. We encourage you to access your account when invited so you can download the mobile app and update your notification preferences.
You can use ParentSquare on any device. Download the free mobile app for iOS or Android.
CAN I STILL RECEIVE UPDATES WITHOUT THE APP?
You will still receive urgent alerts from your school and BCSS if you do not have the app. To get the most out of ParentSquare, we encourage you to download the free mobile app, available for iOS and Android. You can also access ParentSquare from your web browser.
DOES PARENTSQUARE REPLACE REMIND?
ParentSquare will replace Remind starting with the 2026-27 school year. ParentSquare will be the main tool for all district and school communications with families and students starting in July 2026.
WHY PARENTSQUARE?
BCSS chose ParentSquare after an RFP process and Board of Education approval. The platform offers robust features, including secure document sharing, school and district websites, an event calendar with an RSVP option, content-rich newsletters, and more. Using a single platform will enable district and school administrators to share important updates with families and staff more efficiently and effectively in one place, rather than relying on multiple tools for updates. ParentSquare's app also allows you to have all the information in one place, preventing families from having to search in multiple locations.
