I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to serving all of Barrow County in my new role. Dr. Ken Greene leaves big shoes to fill, but an excellent staff and plan to continue our district’s success.

I have 25 years in education: 7 in Oglethorpe County, where I am from, as a Science/Special Needs teacher and coach; 18 years in Barrow County at Haymon-Morris Middle as Assistant Principal and Principal for 9 years each.

My wife has taught for 27 years and we have two children, a 19-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter. I enjoy being with my family, softball, golf, and the Dawgs!

EDUCATION:
I am a quad-Dawg - all 4 of my degrees are from UGA. Three of those are in Educational Leadership, Administration, and Policy.
