Dr. Angela Moton
Assistant Superintendent Teaching and Learning
Dr. Angela Moton has served as an elementary and middle school teacher-leader and mentor. During her service to public education, she has served a Pre-K-12th grade educational leader in both rural and urban school districts in the roles of middle school assistant principal, middle and high school principal, and associate superintendent.
A presidential scholar and honor graduate, Dr. Moton holds Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in elementary education and Specialist and Doctorate degrees in educational leadership and administration. Dr. Moton has also earned university certificates in human resources and grant writing.
Dr. Moton has earned recognition and awards for her service and leadership in numerous community and civic organizations including Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, regional and economic development, board of directors for public and nonprofit organizations, and various other local and statewide organizations.
