Ginette Williams
School Social Worker
Ginette Williams became a Barrow County School Social Worker in 2022. After receiving her Master’s in Social Work from University of South Carolina, she moved to Georgia and dedicated her career to the child abuse field for 16 years. During this time, she became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and gained extensive training and experience in Forensic Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Crisis Intervention.
Most recently, Ginette served as the Executive Director of The Tree House, Inc. from 2015-2022. Ginette also serves on the Barrow County Critical Incident Stress Management Team (CISM) as a mental health peer.
"I love getting to work directly with students and their families to help them meet educational goals and improve their mental health so that they can achieve whatever dreams they have for the future."
When Ginette is not working as a school social worker, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, two cats, and traveling near and far. Ginette is proud to call Barrow County her home since 2015 and is now excited to help families in her community overcome barriers so that children can obtain their goals and dreams.
Ginette serves County Line Elementary, Holsenbeck Elementary and Winder-Barrow High School.
