BCSS Family,
Today, Apalachee High School students and staff experienced the first day of their new screening process involving weapons detection devices. We would like to thank our incredible staff who monitored the process and students for their help and patience to make the first day go smoothly.
As a reminder, this is the next step in moving forward with additional layers of safety at our schools.
More weapons detection devices are on the way for Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy and Winder-Barrow High School. As soon as they arrive, we will schedule a Digital Learning Day for those schools to allow for staff training. We will share those details as they are available.
