Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy senior, Noe Rodas-Zambrano, recalls his favorite memories throughout high school.
Noe began playing the saxophone in middle school, he found a passion and love for playing instruments.
During his eighth-grade year, he started playing the baritone saxophone. Music was an essential part of Noe’s upbringing.
Being part of the band brought Noe great joy and friendships.
“One of my favorite memories in high school was our spring trip for band. I could spend time with my bandmates and friends, having fun playing music and having a good time at the park,” said Noe.
Noe chose to attend BASA because of the programs and opportunities that fit his lifestyle.
“I began playing tuba and walking a little bit with euphonium and trombone, now I am back on alto and barre,” said Noe.
While developing his musical skills, he discovered his dream through his passion.
Noe plans to study music at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
“I’ve heard that it is a great experience there. Commercial music and getting into the music industry is what I want,” said Noe.
Pursuing his passions one instrument at a time, Noe has enjoyed his time with his bandmates and finding what makes him happy.
Noe will graduate this May from BASA as an honor graduate.
Congratulations, Noe! Barrow County School System is proud of your hard work inside and outside of the classroom.
