Ben and Kelli McDaniel: February 2024 BOLD Difference Makers

We are so fortunate to have wonderful members of our community who go above and beyond to support the success and welfare of our students and staff. To show appreciation, we feature them as Community Member of the Month to recognize the BOLD difference they make behind-the-scenes.

We're happy to recognize Ben and Kelli McDaniel as the Community Members of the Month for February 2024. Ben is the Economic Development Director for the Barrow-Braselton Joint Economic Development Authority and Kelli is the Assistant Director of the Piedmont Regional Library System (a BCSS District Partner in Education).

They were nominated for their contributions to our community and schools through their careers and their volunteer work. Kelli serves on the Holsenbeck School Governance Team and Ben serves on the Sims Academy Board of Directors. Along with those important roles, Ben also organized and managed the Community Christmas project that ensured close to 900 families received assistance for the holidays. Kelli is also an essential leader in the Barrow Literacy Partnership.
