We are so proud that Ms. Carla Smith, our media specialist at Westside Middle School, has been selected as Barrow’s Library Media Specialist of the Year for 2023!

The LMSOTY award recognizes K-12 library media specialists with dynamic, innovative programs and whose instructional collaborations foster student engagement and achievement.

Ms. Smith is well deserving of this recognition and will represent Barrow well as she moves to the regional level. Congratulations!
