2021-22 Student Transfer Requests

Georgia State Law, often referred to as HB 251, gives parents of public school students the option to request a transfer for their child to another school within their district where space is available and parents provide transportation.

Barrow County Schools has available space for the 2021-2022 school year at the following schools:

• Auburn Elementary – 5th grade only
• Bramlett Elementary – 4th grade only
• County Line Elementary – 4th grade only
• Winder Elementary – 3rd and 4th grade only
• Bear Creek Middle – 6th and 8th grade only
• Haymon-Morris Middle – 7th and 8th grade only
• Russell Middle – 6th grade only
• Westside Middle – 6th and 7th grade only

The deadline for all Transfer Request Forms for 2021-2022 was 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Please email sblack@barrow.k12.ga.us with any questions.
