Breakfast and lunch are available at NO COST through the end of the 2020-2021 school year for all children ages 0 to 18 years in Barrow County.
BCSS has options available for families to take advantage of this generous benefit from the USDA.
DISTANCE LEARNERS – DRIVE THROUGH MEALS
Meal bags will be available for pick up for distance learners between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on WEDNESDAYS ONLY. (Please check with your school to make sure of the hours.) Each meal bag will include 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches.
Please sign up below to let us know how many meals you will need and the school where you will pick up the meals. Families only have to sign up one time. Please do NOT sign up daily. Only one child's name is needed.
To pick up a meal bag, students do not have to be present and no ID is required. Drive through meals will be available to distance learners for the rest of the fall semester.
The following meal options will be in effect during a hybrid (cohort A/B) schedule.
ON-CAMPUS MEALS
All students attending school in-person will receive their hot breakfast and lunch at no cost the days they are on campus. Cohort A will be on campus Mondays and Tuesdays. Cohort B will be on campus Thursdays and Fridays.
MEAL BAGS
Students will be offered a meal bag that includes 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches to use for days when not in-person learning. Cohort A will receive their meal bag on Tuesday afternoons. Cohort B will receive their meal bag on Friday afternoons.
