Six students from the Apalachee High School and Haymon-Morris Middle School chapters of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) had the opportunity to shop in the Chico’s FAS Employee Store and receive discounted rates on professional attire. The clothing was needed for the State Leadership Conference from March 23-25, 2023. Students bought shirts, pants, and dresses from Chico’s in red, white, and black according to FCCLA’s official dress code.
At the conference, students showed off their professional dress at general sessions, during leadership workshops, and while earning recognition on stage. Apalachee FCCLA earned Honor Roll with Distinction, Career Connection State Program Award, two gold medal finalists advancing to National Leadership Conference in Denver, Colorado, three silver medal competitors, one bronze medal competitor, one statesman award, and one elected state officer. Haymon-Morris Middle earned the Families First State Program Award and three bronze medal competitors.
Thank you to Partner Pal in Education Chico's FAS, Inc. for their support of our students!
