Apalachee and Winder-Barrow High Schools, Nutrition and Food Science Pathway now hold Industry Certification in the state of Georgia. When a program becomes industry certified, it received a “stamp of excellence.”
Under the direction of the instructors, Brooke Lewis-Slamkova at AHS and Christie Glaze at WBHS, these programs each received a $10,000 grant that was used to update classroom and lab equipment.
