k-12 Behavior Intervention Coordinator

This position:

200-day contract - summer & holidays off + benefits. Start date: July 2024
Will work with 10 elementary schools (pre-K to 5) and supervise 4 RBTs.
 
● Coordinate Impact Program: monitor students, schedule RBTs, and plan, implement and coordinate behavior
trainings for RBTs.
● Provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to keep their certification current.
● Collaborate with other professionals and parents by: a) conducting classroom observations and provide feedback;
b) participating in Student Support Team (SST) meetings; and c) assisting in collaborative problem-solving.
● Assist teachers with developing or modifying Functional Behavioral Analysis (FBA) and Behavior Intervention
Plans (BIP) for individual students.

An ideal candidate would have

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required. Five or more years of experience with individual intervention for academic and behavioral concerns are required or other credential as authorized by the employer. Highly desired: current, valid Georgia teaching certificate, five years successful classroom teaching experience; experience with English Language Learners; direct experience with Special Education students.
