Northeast Georgia Medical Center Barrow checked off all the items on the ‘wish lists’ of the Barrow County School System (BCSS) Nurses for their school clinics. Having all of these items at the beginning of the school year truly helped to kick off a great start to school. BCSS nursing staff and BCSS Health Services Manager Lance McNamara are celebrating again this year with this incredibly generous donation of all the disposable supplies for the 20 Nursing Clinics across the school district.
Through our district partnership, we work together on our common mission of improving the health of our students and staff in the Barrow community. Thanks to this partnership, all the school clinics are well-stocked and serving the needs of our schools each day. We appreciate NGMC Barrow’s partnership and the many additional ways we work together throughout the school year to promote the health and well-being of students and staff.
Mr. McNamara says, "Barrow County Schools is very fortunate to have North Georgia Medical Center Barrow as a Partner in Education. The impact they have on our school system and the community is second to none. The supplies NGMC-Barrow provides are a foundation of the commodities that are needed to serve our students during the school day. NGMC-Barrow's partnership helps our school system navigate the medical needs of our students."
