Frances Bowers

My name is Frances Bowers and I will be teaching 3rd grade. Although this is my 21st year in the classroom, it’s my first as a Yargo Wildcat. My husband, Steve, and I have 3 grown children and two grandchildren. I received my Bachelor’s from Concord College (WV) and a Master’s in Early Chilldhood Education from Piedmont College. When I’m not at school, you can find me searching for the road less traveled in our Jeep or at a campground. 

I believe all children can learn, and it’s my job to meet them where they are and push them to be the best they can be. I believe we are all a team - teacher, parents, student - and we all want what’s best for your child. My classroom will be “home” for your child for 180 days; I do my best to make learning fun as well as meaningful while keeping each student actively engaged in the learning process.
