Jessica Yarbrough

Hi! My name is Jessica Yarbrough. This will be my 8th year of teaching and my 2nd year in Barrow County.  I have taught 2nd grade for 3 years, 1st grade for 3 years, and 3rd grade for 1 year. I also have my Gifted certification. Before coming to Barrow, I taught in Gwinnett County for 6 years. My husband's name is Chris, and I have a 4 year old son named Jack. When Jack was born, I took 3 years off of teaching to stay home with him. Last year was my first year back to teaching after my time off. I love spending time with my family, watching movies, and shopping!! My favorite color is pink, and I love anything with chocolate and peanut butter! 

From the time I was very young, I had a dream of becoming a teacher. I love working with children and seeing their growth as learners throughout the school year.  I look forward to working with your child this year. It's going to be a great year!
