Jennifer Hardin
Kindergarten Teacher
My name is Jennifer Hardin. This is my 15th year of teaching at Yargo Elementary. I have taught kindergarten for 13 years and 2 years of first grade. Prior to joining Yargo as a teacher, I taught the Georgia Pre-K program at KinderCare Learning Center. I have a husband, Tom, and three children. My daughter is the oldest and she is 23. I also have Ethan, who is 19 and Jacob is starting high school at 14 years old. I received my Bachelor’s degree at Brenau University and my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Piedmont College. My favorite color is pink and I love peanut m&m’s! I grew up in Gwinnett County, but I have lived in Barrow County for 18 years. It is very rewarding to be a part of the community that I teach in!
I love watching children grow and kindergarten is such a year of growth! You will be amazed at how far your child will grow in nine months. Throughout kindergarten, your child will become a more independent learner and gain a love of learning. With lots of communication and support for each other, our partnership will help your child be successful!
