Angela King

Welcome to Yargo! I have been a teacher and have spent the majority of my career here at Yargo since we opened in 1999. Most of my years have been in third and fourth grade, with this year being my 8th year in fourth grade. I still love teaching as much as I did when I started my career 24 years ago. 

I have been married for 25 years. My husband, Greg is a project manager at Siemens. Both of my children went to Yargo. My son, Parker graduated from Apalachee and finished his first year at Young Harris College this past year. My daughter, Lily will be a 7th grader at CFIT. She will be following the path to attend BASA. Our little family is complete with our 15 year old Goldendoodle named Sadie. 

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University and my Masters from Piedmont College. I hold special teaching endorsements in Reading, Gifted Learning, and Teacher Support Specialist. 

I look forward to having a great year! It may be a roller coaster with the adversities we are dealing with in this coming school year, but we will overcome all obstacles and have a phenomenal year!!
