Yargo's Annual Veteran's Day Program Returns to In-Person

We will be celebrating Veterans Day on Friday, November 11. We will have two assemblies, one at 7:50am, and another at 9:20am. Your child's teacher will communicate with you soon about which program your child will be attending. Please watch your child's teacher's weekly newsletter.

The following 2nd Grade classes will be performing at 7:50am:

Ms. Wall's class

Ms. Glass's class

Mr. Kirk's Class

Ms. Parks's class

These 2nd Grade classes will be performing in the 9:20am assembly:

Ms. West's class

Ms. Hydrick's class

Ms. Brunson's class

Ms. Anglin's class

The Wildcat Chorus will be performing in both assemblies.

A few of our 5th Graders will be reading essays about why they are thankful for our veterans.

If you know a veteran who can come, we would love to honor them in either assembly.

As a part of our celebration, we would like to play a slide show as our students and guests are entering. If someone in your family is a veteran, please send a picture (in uniform, or in civvies) to scott.moore@barrow.k12.ga.us. Please include:

1. The veteran's name

2. Their branch of service

3. Their relationship to someone at the school (Steve Rogers, U.S. Army, uncle of Stephanie Rogers)
