The AHS Bar-B-Cats competed this weekend in their first BBQ Competition. They placed 18th out of 25 highly experienced professional cook teams. We couldn't be more proud of their professionalism, hard work, and the way they represented our school! It's an amazing feat just to show up and turn in 3 boxes on time - but to beat professionals at their own game?!? There are 7 teams of professional pitmasters waking up wondering how they got beat by a bunch of high school kids at their first competition! We are the talk of the Georgia BBQ community.  Please congratulate these students - they have been preparing and practicing all year to make it this far. Not only did they stay up all night on Friday cooking, then they went to Prom!
