Brittain Gantt
Science
Brittain Gantt was born in Gray, Georgia. In 2015, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology with minors in chemistry and geology from Georgia Southern University. He also received a Masters of Teaching Secondary Biology from Georgia Southern in 2019.
Mr. Gantt has 3 years of teaching experience at Jenkins County Middle School. During his time at Jenkins County Middle School, he incorporated Citizen-Science into his classroom. Using his students’ data, he presented at the National Science Teachers Association in Atlanta, Georgia, and St. Louis Missouri on implementing citizen science into the classroom. Mr. Gantt is looking forward to teaching science for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy.
Mr. Gantt lives in Jefferson Georgia with his wife, Nicole Gantt, and their new daughter Emerson Gantt.
