Mathematics

Students will be utilizing the Mathematics Vision Project (MVP) and Open Up resources in their instruction which is a task-based approach to learning mathematics.  All students should expect homework daily to enhance and deepen their mathematical understanding.  Students are encouraged to purchase a TI-30XS Scientific calculator.  These are available in the school store and a few are on hand in the classroom.  If students would prefer to purchase a graphing calculator, a TI-84 CE or TI-84+ is recommended.  Teachers will be available for extra help throughout the semester during Expeditions and sometimes after school.
