Gretchen Hollingsworth

Gretchen Hollingsworth has devoted the past 20 years of her life to the field of teaching. Throughout this time, she has taught grades 6th-12th English as well as 6th-9th science and is happily embracing the role of Innovative Learning Coach at BASA. She has earned several distinctions within her schools and district including Teacher of the Year, Teacher Leader, Arts Now Pilot Teacher, and Digital Content Developer. In 2021, Gretchen was named as a Georgia STEM Scholar by the Georgia Youth Science and Technology Center.

Ms. Hollingsworth lives in Winder, Georgia with her husband, Derek, and her  son, Gannon. In her downtime she enjoys reading and cuddling with her three cats.
