Great news! BASA students have the opportunity to take the PSAT or SAT at BASA!
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT) is a great tool for students considering college. The PSAT/NMSQT measures critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills and writing skills. Barrow Arts And Sciences Academy recommends that students take the PSAT/NMSQT in order to receive feedback about strengths and weaknesses, enter the competition for National Merit Scholar scholarships (11th graders) and to help prepare for the SAT.
For the 2024 PSAT/NMSQT, students at Barrow Arts And Sciences Academy will be registering online. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access.
Online Exam registration will end on Sun, Aug 25, 2024 at 11:59 PM. In order to register, students should click on this link: https://user.totalregistration.net/PSAT/110357
To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have printed the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end.
Barrow Arts And Sciences Academy is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a debit or credit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing payment.

Tue, Aug 13, 2024 - Registration Begins
Sun, Aug 25, 2024 at 11:59 PM - Registration Ends
Mon, Aug 26, 2024 - Registrations that have not been paid for will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.
Fee: $25 for 9th and 11th graders. 10th graders are FREE and required to take the exam.
Seniors can sign up to take the SAT at BASA during the school day! Sign ups are due by August 25. The SAT will be given on October 3, 2024 at 8:30-1 PM. The cost of the SAT exam is $65 and students can apply for a waiver in the counseling office. Please pay for your exam here.
