BASA’s Future Civic Leaders attended the 79th Georgia Youth Assembly in Atlanta. GA Youth Assembly is an engaging simulation where students act as state Representatives and Senators to write, amend, and defend bills in committee and chamber meetings. Several of our students wrote or sponsored bills which they defended in front of their chamber, and three of our students served in leadership positions at the conference. We are so proud of their performance!
