This past Saturday, December 10th, the RoboClovers headed back to East Jackson High School for another double meet against other FIRST Tech Challenge teams in the area. Both teams successfully overcame a number of challenges as the wear and tear of competing in ten matches in a single day tested the endurance of both the bots and the team members.
Hardware fatigue throughout the day had the teams busy with maintenance and repairs on wheels, linear motion mechanisms, and damaged wires. Rising above every obstacle with Gracious Professionalism, both teams worked magic in the pits and went on to improve their positions in the league standings with the Varsity RoboClovers pulling into 2nd place and the JV RoboClovers moving up to the 6th position in the league. Individually, the Varsity team was able to go 8-2 for the day, and the JV team earned the honor of having the highest single match score of the meet at 150 points.
The next league meet for the RoboClovers will take place on Saturday, January 14th.
