The BASA Future Civic Leaders pathway offers students the opportunity to combine Social Studies and CTAE study to build leadership skills for any career they wish to pursue. Part of this experience is attending the annual Youth Assembly hosted by the Georgia Center for Civic Engagement. At the Youth Assembly, the students take part in large-scale simulations where they debate and vote on laws, including youth leadership positions such as Youth Governor, Speaker of the House, and more.
