Physical education
Physical Education (PE) Our physical education program provides opportunities for students to build skills in movement activities, rhythmic and dance activities, games, and sports. Students will also participate in physically challenging activities designed to improve their level of fitness. Safety practices will be emphasized at all times. There are many ways parents can assist in making sure P.E. is a positive experience for their children.
We ask that you help us in the following ways:
- Make sure your child is dressed appropriately on P.E. days. This means tennis shoes and comfortable clothing, including shorts underneath dresses or skirts.
- Take an interest in your child’s fitness level and physical skills by asking about P.E. class and ask your child to show you what he/she learned.
- Encourage physical activities at home as a family. Let your child know that you value fitness and a healthy, active lifestyle.
