Ryan McGuire

My Name is Mr. McGuire and I am the Chemistry Teacher at Winder Barrow High School. I grew up about an hour and a half away in Kennesaw, Georgia, where I went to Kennesaw Mountain High School. After Graduation, I went down to Macon, Georgia, where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Mercer University. Go Bears! After undergrad, I moved to West Chester Pennsylvania for a year to attend West Chester University and received my Masters in Secondary Education as well as my Certificate to teach High School Chemistry. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I am extremely excited to be able to call Winder Barrow High School my home. I look forward to getting to know each of you and cannot wait to show you all the wonderful things about Chemistry! I believe every student has the capacity to succeed in whatever they put their mind to.

• I'm a very proud dog dad of a little beagle named Ani.
• I'm soon to be a real dad of a little girl, Rayla Addison McGuire
• I'm a huge nerd when it comes to science and especially chemistry.
• I have really unpractical and random talents that I can't wait to show you in class (ex: juggling, rubik's cubes, balancing stuff on my nose...)
• Some of my favorite shows and movies are: Forrest Gump, Pysch, Brooklyn 99, any marvel movie, Avatar the last airbender (tv show), and Braves Baseball.
