Maegan Holt

Hello everyone! I am Mrs. Holt. I teach 9th Grade Literature and Composition and Honors 9th Grade Literature and Composition. I am also the head of the 9th Grade Common Curriculum team. In addition, I work at Foothills Charter School in the evenings. This is my ninth year teaching and my fifth year teaching English at Winder-Barrow High School. I have taught all grade levels in the high school setting as well as Pre-K and Kindergarten.

I graduated from Grayson High School in Loganville, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, and I have a Master's Degree in Secondary English Education from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw. I am also gifted certified. I love English language arts, and I love teaching. I cannot imagine doing anything else. When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, writing, spending time with my family, playing outside, and renovating my house. I look forward to every new school year and every new class of students.

Writing conferences, tutoring, and parent-teacher conferences are by appointment only. I can meet most mornings and afternoon (before and after school) with notice. If you need to meet with me, please contact me to arrange a time.
