Laurie Allen

I was born in Florida and then lived in Utah, New York, and Virginia before settling in Georgia in 3rd grade. I graduated from Shiloh High School and then attended The University of North Georgia (NGC and NGCSU back then) where I earned a BA in English with a Theatre Concentration. I then worked a year at The Gwinnett Daily Post before going on to Georgia College and State University to earn an MAT in Secondary Education. I also have an ED.S in Reading from the University of Georgia. This is my 19th year in the classroom and my 14th at WBHS.

I live in Winder with my children Harper and Beau, who attend Winder Elementary School.
