Senior Credit Review Meetings will happen Feb. 16-17. These meetings are for counselors to sessions to talk with 4th year students about the credits they have earned and what is still needed for their plan to graduate.
Students will review their letters and sign them. Counselors will also be sharing important information with students listed below:
Senior Reminders
Seniors Dues (aka Cap & Gown orders) must be made through SCHOLASTICIMAGES.COM and increased from $100 to $120 on January 1st. The amount will increase again on March 1st to $140. This order also pays for your entry of senior week activities.
If you are a senior working on anything at Foothills, you have until May 12th to complete those courses for graduation. If you're in an EOC course at Foothills, you must be done by April 20th.
Senior Week is May 15-19th. Senior Honors Night is May 16 at 6pm here at WBHS, and this will be invite only. Graduation is on May 25th at 8pm.
Keep in mind, seniors last day will be May 19. Grades are due that next school day from teachers, if you haven't passed your required courses, you will not be able to participate in graduation.
ACT/SAT opportunities (SAT - March 11, late registration until Feb 28; May 6 - last one that counts for Zell) (ACT - April 15, March 10 deadline - last one that counts for Zell). Remember about sending scores for Zell Miller Scholarship - ALSO this semester could be your opportunity to earn a 3.0 for HOPE or might be the reason you lose the 3.0 - keep working!
If you failed anything from last semester or fail ECON this 9 weeks, you need to speak with your counselor about starting or continuing with After School Credit Recovery and Extension.
Spring Mini Apply to College Week is happening the last week of March - March 27-31. We will have instant decision days from UNG, KSU, GGC and a day to work on Lanier Tech apps for free. We will have an Apply to College and FAFSA Completion Day Monday, March 27th from 6pm-7:30pm in the media center.
Also, the Mill Creek PROBE College Fair is coming next month at 6pm-8pm on March 29. Barrow County students and families are invited to attend. There will be around 100 schools there to meet and speak with you if you are still having a hard time coming up with your next step.

Final transcripts - during graduation practice you will need to complete a form telling us where you need your final transcript sent to the school of your choice.
