Mrs. Sue McHann has more than 22 years of experience in education, 11 as an elementary school principal in California. She is currently working on her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership degree through Liberty University.

"I am deeply committed to creating a school team that empowers scholars to become critical thinkers, compassionate citizens, and lifelong learners no matter their background or ability. I firmly believe education extends beyond the walls of the classroom and strong partnerships between the school and the community are essential for student success. I look forward to continuing the productive work that has already been established at Statham Elementary by all school and community partners."

She has been married to her husband, Mike, for 35 years and has four daughters, three "son-in-loves," and four grandchildren.
