5th Grade Math Workshop

In math, 5th graders are computing with decimals. Before moving into Math Workshop to practice adding, subtracting and multiplying decimals, mathematicians participate in a Brain Warm-up activity. 

Counting Cup Keep Up; students count as they tap the cup in a circle. The objective is to count as high as possible without the cup hitting the floor. These students were counting by tenths.
