Four of our elementary schools have shown wonderful support for the Kids Heart Challenge during the 2020-2021 school year.
Youth Market Director of the American Heart Association, Holly Marbut says, "Overall, this has been an incredible year! The outpouring of generosity and support from these school communities blew us all away, and the coaches all said that the kids had a blast learning about how to take care of their bodies and how they can help other people through giving."
Barrow County has raised over $22,000.
Auburn Elementary
57 students took a heart healthy challenge that encouraged them to move more, be kind, and choose water. They raised more than $3,755.
Bramlett Elementary
64 students took a heart healthy challenge. They raised $5,320.
County Line Elementary
As of March 8, 46 students registered for a heart healthy challenge and have raised more than $1,500. Their challenge ends on March 26.
