Frances, Emma, and Natalie all earned medals at the Regional Science and Engineering Fair

Russell Middle School is excited to announce that we had THREE students who won medals at the Regional Science and Engineering Fair this weekend! These students have enjoyed a significant winning streak with their projects - winning first at the School Level, then the District Level, then the Regional Level, and now, one is headed to participate at the State Level!  Frances B. won a Silver Medal with her project, “Halitosis and Hypotension.”  Emma P., our Gold Medalist, presented “Food Perceptions Based on Color.”  Emma will now proceed to the State Level of competition that will take place March 26th through March 28th at the University of Georgia.  Natalie M., won a Silver Medal and the American Chemical Society Award along with a $50 cash prize for her project on “Fabric and Scotchgard.”  Congratulations to these three students who dedicated a lot of time, effort, and hard work to achieve their goal!  Way to show your DogPack Pride!!!!  We are so proud of each of you – and, good luck, Emma, as you blaze your way through the State Level of competition!
