RMS Students Dominate at the All-State Band Auditions

We had the first round of All-State band auditions this Saturday, which also acts as the district 14 (essentially from Barrow County straight NE towards the S. Carolina border).
We had about 10 kids audition, and...
We had 5 students make district Honor Band (the most in Mr. McCarver’s 6 years here), and 2 students advanced to the second round audition, the first 2 to move on in several years as well.
