3rd Grade Math Fun!

This week, in Mrs. DeRose's class, her students have been learning how to use fractions to measure and collect data. They have also been working on taking their data and graphing it on a line plot. On Wednesday, they worked in teams to measure different lengths of flowers, from stem to petal, to the nearest quarter inch. The groups then used the data they collected to place their information on a line plot. Each group had fun using this hands-on technique of measuring and graphing data!
