Students in Mrs. Hester and Ms. Chupp’s class completed a Culture Food Share Project Based Learning Experience. Students chose a recipe from their family's culture that is a traditional food in their home, interviewed family about their culture and food, and experienced cooking it with their family while paying attention to the use of fractions and measurement. Students also created recipe cards on their project slides so they could present the recipe with their food at their station. The students presentations were all well made and they each provided delicious foods that integrated their culture and math for all to enjoy.
