Robert Southard

Robert Southard was approved by the Barrow County Board of Education during the June 25 Work Session. He has completed 23 years in education with a background ranging from teaching, department chair, Instructional Technology Specialist, Assistant Principal, and K-12 Curriculum Coordinator.

"I am incredibly excited to join and support the Haymon-Morris Middle School community. My core values are stewardship, relationships, and planning/organization. My highest hope is that I will live out those values in a way that enables students and staff to be their absolute best selves." 

Did you know? 

Mr. Southard was born in Japan and has traveled to ten countries outside the United States. During his 23 years of educational experience, he spent five years teaching in China and South Korea.
