HES Families,

Our students laughed, played, ran around on the playground, and learned—doing everything we hope for them as children. Our little hawks returned on Tuesday, September 10.

Thank you to our families for the incredible courage and strength you've shown as parents and guardians in sending your children back to school. The entire HES staff fully understands the enormous trust you placed in us this week, and for that, we thank you. Your child will continue to be surrounded by love and support each day as we navigate the future.

I am so proud to serve our school community. Together, we will take the steps necessary to heal. We understand that healing takes time and happens in many different ways, and we are here for you just as much as we are for your children. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any concerns or needs—whether it’s counseling support, resources for discussing emotions with your child, or simply someone to listen. Our school community is strong, and together we will continue to care for one another in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
