Lauren McDougald

I love teaching. This is my 23rd year. I taught 19 years in Gwinnett and 4 years in Barrow. My undergraduate degree is from Piedmont College and Master’s from Walden University.

I have been happily married for 31 years. I have two children. Chase lives in Florida with his wife and my sweet grandbabies Cara and Colton. Spencer lives here and is going to GGC. I have lived in Georgia all of my life. I am from Lawrenceville.

We have 3 dogs, a cat, and a rabbit. We do have chickens and love having our own eggs. We have learned a lot about chickens the last couple of years. Our animals are a big part of our family.

I love to go camping and hiking. Getting out in nature is my happy place. I enjoy new adventures and seeing new places. My goal one day is to go to Europe. Reading is another passion of mine. I love a good story!
