Lee Griffeth
Special Education Teacher
Lee Griffeth is the K-2 Autism teacher at County Line Elementary. Mr. Griffeth loves the rewards that come along with working with students with autism and other behavioral needs. Lee's classroom revolves around the philosophies of positive vs. negative behaviors, earned consequences, and teaching replacement behaviors. Lee, along with paraprofessional Ms. Brittany Cowper, began his teaching career in 2019 - the pilot year of Barrow County's autism program. While the year was cut short due to COVID-19, Lee quickly discovered how rewarding working with this population of students can be. Lee graduated from the University of Georgia in 2019 with a BSED in Special Education.
