Andrea Mason believes that every child is special and their differences should be celebrated! She has been teaching at County Line Elementary for 20 years. Before teaching 1st grade, she taught Kindergarten for 14 years and K-2 EIP for 2 years. Mrs. Mason’s favorite thing about teaching is seeing how excited students are when they learn something new. She loves books and enjoys reading aloud to her students every day.
Mrs. Mason has been recognized as a Barrow County Schools Teacher Leader in the area of Technology Integration. She is certified to teach PreK-5th grade, has an ESOL endorsement, and is currently working to obtain a Gifted endorsement. Mrs. Mason holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia.
