Congratulations to Katie Dills, CLES TOTY

We are so proud to name our CLES Teacher-of-the-Year, Katie Dills.

Our CLES TOTY Finalists were January Vaughters, Morgan Runge, Charlotte Rice, and Katie Dills.

 Meet Mrs. Dills:

This is my 9th year teaching, and my 5th year in 3rd grade. My favorite thing about being a teaching is being able to teach someone something new. I love to watch the face of a student light up as they finally figure something out for the first time. When I am not at school, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. I am married and have two amazing boys. We are ALWAYS outside.

Meet Mrs. Rice

Being a teacher is very rewarding! Not only do we get to open educational doors for our students, we also get to be one of the many pieces in their journey of life! Seeing my students have FUN while learning is definitely rewarding.

My 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Watson would be her favorite teacher. She always made learning fun! She found ways to incorporate pottery into every season She did this to give us fun activities that we would have otherwise never experienced. To this day I still has the little figurines we made in her class!

If I could have dinner with any famous person it would be Queen Elizabeth II. I find her to be very interesting and I love her bold personality! The monarchy is intriguing to me and I image she is very knowledgeable and funny!

A few more fun facts:

Favorite food: Chicken and Waffles from The Place

Favorite movie: Wonder

Hobbies: I love to travel to new places with my family.

Meet Mrs. Runge

My favorite food is pizza and wings. My favorite pastime is spending time with my family watching movies and playing board games. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the change in the students over the course of the schoolyear. They grow, mature, and make so much progress.

Meet Mrs. Vaughters:

A few fun facts about Mrs. Vaughters……She loves all kinds of Mexican food and her favorite treat is a coke slushie! She loves being a teacher because of the relationships she builds with her students and because she thinks kids are the best! She loves UGA Football, Atlanta Braves Baseball, and Taylor Swift. When she’s not at work, you can probably find her at Target or hanging out at home with her husband, 2 daughters, 2 dogs, and 4 cows. She loves to travel with her family and see all of the beautiful things our country has to offer. She has been a County Line Critter for 17 years and has loved every minute of it!

Congratulations to Mrs. Dills and all of our finalists. We are so proud of the remarkable teachers we have at County Line Elementary.
