The National Technology Student Association (TSA) Conference was held last week in Orlando, Florida as thousands of the most talented young engineering and technology students from across the nation and globe engaged in workshops, delegation meetings, officer elections, and an intense schedule of competitive events. By the end of the conference, ten members of the Winder-Barrow High School TSA Chapter, under the advisement of WBHS teacher Kimberly Garren, finished in the top 15 of their respective events.
The following honors were earned by these teams and individuals:
Tripp Britt
- Manufacturing Prototype: Design an item that could be used to represent a TSA state delegation at a trade show. It could be a giveaway or a tabletop promotional item.

- Architectural Design: Design a vacation home for a family (minimum of 6 people) that is located on a river, lake, or stream.

- Animatronics: Create an animatronic exhibit that would be seen in a History of Space Exploration Museum.
