Emily Fowler

I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to serve Bear Creek Middle School and the Statham community. It’s with great pride I begin my journey of supporting an already thriving school with amazing teachers and students. It is my hope to create an environment for teachers and students that fosters healthy relationships, creativity and growth. Here at Bear Creek, we strive for excellence by dreaming big, believing in ourselves and achieving our goals.

This year will be the beginning of my 17th year in education. I have served in many different capacities in the realm of public education across several school districts. I worked in the elementary classroom, served as a district Instructional Technology and Data Collection Specialist, taught and facilitated in Special Education and had the opportunity to grow as an Instructional Coach.

When I’m not at school you can find me spending time with my husband, 2 daughters and our four-legged fur babies.  We enjoy traveling as a family, but you can usually catch us at the dance studio or volleyball courts. We are avid Georgia Bulldog fans and love spending time in Athens.

I look forward to serving the families at Bear Creek this year and as always “It’s a great day to be a Grizzly."
