Jennifer Pope

Jennifer Pope joins Austin Road Elementary as our Physical Education Teacher.

"I love introducing new sports skills to kids and seeing them excited when they get the hang of it! PE has always been my favorite subject and I love to hear how much my students enjoy coming to the gym! I love making the gym an environment where all students can be successful while learning lifelong healthy habits. It is also a plus when I meet my step goal for the day before I leave work!"

"My husband is Andy and we have been married for 9 years. We love going on vacations, playing tennis and darts, and spending time with friends and family. We have 2 fur babies. Ockey is our 6-year-old 120-pound Great Pyrenees and Max is our 10-month-old 16-pound Shih Tzu."

Interests: I love to cook! I enjoy creating meals and sharing meals with friends and family. I am a total sports fan and love watching sports, especially football! GO DAWGS! I love the outdoors and enjoy planting flowers and working in my garden. My husband and I love to end the day sitting in our comfy chairs on the back porch enjoying the last bit of daylight together.
