LeeAnn Nelson joins Austin Road Elementary as Third Grade teacher.

"My favorite part of teaching is sharing in experiences and learning alongside my students. I love getting to know my students and discovering what motivates them to learn. The greatest reward in teaching is getting to witness the many lightbulb moments throughout the school year."

"I have been married for 18 years. We have two beautiful girls ages, 11 and 16. They will attend AIM at CFIT and BASA next year. We have two fur babies. We have an Australian Shepherd named Finn, and a sweet grey kitty named Luna."

Interests: "I enjoy going to concerts. Live music makes my soul happy! I have traveled around the country with my husband to see many of our favorite artists. I also enjoy family game nights, reading, traveling the country in our jeep, movies, and cheering for the Atlanta Braves! Go Braves!"
